After clinching the 2015 ANA Inspiration, Brittany Lincicome slipped on a $1.000 robe. It was an improvement from the first robe of 1995 Champion Nanci Bowen. This tradition started in 1988. Then Amy Alcott made the jump at the Mission Hills Country Club, but Bowen was the first. Last year she returned to the place of her first victory. During the visit, Bowen said that she is feeling great and that visiting this place was her best decision.

She also said that new and young players are very good. Bowen’s career lasted 14 years. They, in 2005 she transferred to the instruction. According to many experts, she is very good at her job. During her career, she worked with Dr. Deborah Graham, a sports psychologist who also trained her. Now, Bowen is training young golfers in the same way, with the same benefits. According to Bowen, that training puts your mind in the right place. She meets with the young students from the Furman University Golf Club, in Greenville, South Carolina. There, she works with students, but also with adults, especially on the course where she is preparing them for different situations.

Now, Bowen is hosting All Things Golf, on the internet. This is a podcast of the Web Talk Radio. She said that she wants to inspire young people to play golf with her interviews. Her first guest was Nancy Lopez. Also, Bowen is responsible for charity efforts that last more than 20 years. The Nanci Bowen Charity Event, which is held every year, helps Hospice of Tift Area and the Anita Stewart Oncology Center at Tift Regional Medical Center. This foundation helps patients who are treated with radiation and chemotherapy.
