Vertigo Doesn't Stop Day From Taking Part In The U.S. Open

The main question that was in many people’s mind including Jason Day as the U.S. Open approached was whether he will be able to take part in the whole tournament. Just days before the U.S. Open started Day received news that many people wouldn’t want to receive at any given time, let alone just before one of the biggest tournaments of your career. The Aussie, Day, might have believed that he was a rough day when he suffered a dizzy moment that ultimately led to a prolonged delay, but he was wrong as he was later given a very bad news that threatened his participation in the U.S. Open.

Diagnosis conducted on Day as a result of the dizzy moment that he had revealed that he has benign positional vertigo. As indicated earlier, receiving such news or even having to battle this type of disease is not easy and the fact that he was dealt with this blow with the U.S. Open just around the corner made it even hard for him. But thanks to some brave doctors who took care of Day throughout the night by administering number of treatment, Day was able to take part in on the first tee of the U.S. Open and ready to battle it out with some of the best golfers in the world in what was without a doubt one of the toughest golf layout of the U.S. Open.

Day did not only take part in the event but also put up a very good performance especially in his last hole where he rolled in a 6-foot putt bringing to an end what many analysts call the biggest tightrope walk in the history of the U.S. Open.
