Spieth, McIlroy The New Faces Of Golf

Spieth, McIlroy The New Faces Of Golf

The golfing world as we all know it have new faces in Jordan Spieth and Rory McLlroy. The two pro golfers have shown that you can indeed have success on the course even if you are up against some of the top players in the world of golfing. In fact, McLlroy and Spieth are the winners of the past four major championships and it’s only fitting that they both occupy the 1st and 2nd position in the golf ranking.

Spieth, who is just 21, managed to compose himself and take home the U.S. Open championship over the weekend and this wasn’t actually so surprising to him. Before they came into the final day of the Open, Spieth had convinced himself that if he indeed make sure that he has the right attitude and mindset during the day then he will be taking home the championship.

If you happen to watch both McLlroy and Spieth play, you will see something in their eyes, that desire to win and dominate in every game that they take part in and frankly it seems to be working out for them so far.

According to Ben Crenshaw, if you happened to look at Spieth during practice rounds at the Masters then you would realize that you are looking at the eyes of a champion. “When I looked into his eyes he reminded me of Wyatt Earp,” he said. “He has that look, like he is ready to gun you down.”

With the two set to take part in other events we can only tell that there are bound to add other wins on their corner before the year-ends.
